Bethany Jaenicke has dabbled in a variety of artistic mediums throughout her lifetime-- including theatre, sculpture, writing, dance, songwriting, etc. Her sculptural experience includes showing a piece on Mary Magdalene at the Phoebe Pember House, downtown Charleston, SC in 2003. She also featured a piece at Circular Congregational Church’s 2003 Piccolo Spoleto show. She studied philosophy at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, NM and finished up her BA in Sociology at College of Charleston in 2004.
Bethany finds inspiration in the story of her faith set against the backdrop of our broken, weary world. Her dream is to travel to churches around the world and play music that expresses the mystery and beauty of that faith. Until that happens however, she provides food for herself and her tail-less cat Bob by working as a Montessori school teacher. She and Bob live in a cozy apartment near a salt marsh in Mount Pleasant, SC. Photography Kimberly (Kimmie) Krauk began taking an interest in photography back in 2002, when she went to Europe and held her first professional quality camera. She photographed people and landscapes across 5 or 6 different countries and later started shooting individual models. Over the years, she has developed a style that is uniquely artistic yet fluid. She may shoot very clean portraits one day and grungy, texturized photos the next. Kimmie loves to take beautiful models and place them against backdrops that are the complete opposite to emphasize their attributes. Kimmie also works with traumatized youth in war-torn countries teaching music and art. You can view more of her work at www.zoomphotographyonline.com.
